**SCAM WARNING**

The City has become aware of individuals coming to people's doors in orange reflective vests telling homeowners that they have leaks or broken pipes, blaming the homeowners for fire hydrant usage or standing water in the gutter, demanding payment, and recommending that they call a specific contractor or company to fix the supposed issues. We as the Utilities Department want to assure customers that we follow specific procedures to take care of leaks, meter issues, or past due accounts.
