The City of Statesville is committed to assisting our customers in managing their utility bills. We are pleased to introduce our new Payment Arrangement Policy, designed to provide flexibility and support to those facing temporary financial challenges. This policy replaces the existing 13-day extension policy, which ended on October 9, 2023.
Eligibility: If your current utility bill is past due but your services have not yet been disconnected due to non-payment, you may qualify for a payment arrangement. To check your eligibility and set up a payment arrangement, please follow these steps:
It is important to remember that your regular bill for the upcoming months will include the current monthly charges in addition to the installment amount for the payment arrangement. Until your existing payment arrangement is fully paid, we are unable to consider any additional payment arrangements. To maintain your utility services and benefit from the payment arrangement, it is important to follow the agreed-upon terms. Failure to meet the terms will result in the requirement to pay the entire outstanding balance to restore your utility services.
