Users have two options for paying their utility bills online. For both options, customers will need to know their account number, the name as it appears on the bill, and customer number.
Quick Pay
Allows users to make their utility payments without signing up for an account. This is not ideal for businesses that would like to pay multiple bills at the same time.
Paying through a Bank Directly?
Make sure you are using your new payment account number and make checks payable and remit to:

If you are an existing customer that has set-up online billing directly with your bank. You will need to adjust the payment account number and remit address to insure payments are going to the new system’s payment portal.
Previously Enrolled in EFT?
If you are already enrolled in EFT, your information has been converted from our legacy system and will be processed for automatic payment as normal.
Your first bill WILL NOT indicate the message “DIRECT PAYMENT – DO NOT PAY” however, your following bills will showcase your enrollment.
Signing up for an account
Please click on the Sign in / Register button in the top right hand corner of your browser, then click register again to set up your account.
You will receive an email for verification, click on the link in the email to activate the account.
Click "Add an account". You will want to have a copy of your bill handy because you will be required to enter your account number, the name exactly as it appears on the bill, and your customer number (also located on the bill). After you have entered this information,
click add account.
You will be directed to an online utility payments landing page where you can now add additional locations (ideal for property owners or businesses that have multiple accounts to pay monthly). If you would like to add additional accounts, click manage accounts
on the left side of the screen.
Additional Information
Historically the City of Solon contracted with Cleveland Division of Water to perform sanitary sewer billing on its behalf. Our charge was included on their bill for water service which you received on a quarterly basis, 4 times per year.
The City of Solon has been billing residents and businesses for sanitary sewer since 2011. This resulted in residents and businesses receiving 2 bills each quarter, 1 for water and 1 for sewer. The City of Cleveland will follow their established billing schedule
for water, while the City of Solon has established a billing cycle for sanitary sewer to be received on approximately the following dates:
June 1st - 1st Quarter Billing
September 1st - 2nd Quarter Billing
December 1st - 3rd Quarter Billing
March 1st - 4th Quarter Billing
This change has been made to improve the management of our accounts as well as to ensure timely answers to your questions and concerns.
Solon’s Sewer Billing rates are governed by Chapter 1046 of the Solon Codified Ordinances.

Summer Use Adjustments
The Water Reclamation Department is authorized to provide a Summer Use Adjustment Program for owner occupied 1, 2, 3 and 4 family residential accounts in good standing. The adjustment shall be applied to the third and fourth quarter (summer months) consumption
meter readings based on the historical typical consumption established in the first and second quarter readings (winter months).
If for any reason actual readings are not available to establish typical use, the program will utilize the last 2 actual winter quarter readings. In the case that summer use is less than historical typical use, no adjustment would be necessary. If an actual summer reading is not available, the program will default to the last actual summer reading.

Residential customers can use Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
How do I reset my password?
If you chose to sign-up with an email address, use the “Reset Password” link on the sign-in dialog.
I do not see the payment I just made, will it show at some point?
On-Line Payments can take up to 2 business days to post
Can I get a receipt?
Receipts are emailed to addresses entered with credit card information, and may be printed at process end.
I cannot complete the payment process from my wireless device (phone, tablet, etc.) Why?
While every effort is made to support multiple computing platforms, there are too many types and versions of internet capable devices to fully support all of them.
