Utility payments will continue to be accepted in the Finance Office at City Hall, online, in the mail, at Hy-Vee’s customer service counter, and in the drop box in the City Hall parking lot. The Public Utilities will also continue to offer the option of automatic bank draft (ACH) payments. Receive your bills through e-mail:
If you wish to receive your future bills through email instead of a printed copy in the mail you can contact our office at (507)359-8259, use Contact Us link on the online payment site to email us, or click on the Utility Billing link to get to the Online Services options and click on sign up for e-billing.
Sign up for Text Notifications:
If you would like to receive payment reminders by text sign up by using the Utility Billing link to get to the Online Services options and click sign up for text reminders. This will allow us to send text messages if there is an issue with your account. At this point in time texts messages will not be sent in place of mailed late notices.
Cold Weather Rules in effect October 15th - April 15th.
Please be aware the cold weather rule does not totally forbid winter cutoffs. If you receive a disconnection notice this winter, you must act promptly
