City Hall is open from 8:30a to 5:00p. Utility Billing is on the 1st floor. 

New Services are accepted until 4:30p in the lobby.

Notice to City of Melbourne Utility Customers

Florida State Statute 180.136 requires that before a local government water or sewer utility increases any rate, charge or fee for water or utility service, the utility shall provide notice of the proposed increase to each customer through the utility’s billing process. This notice shall state the date, time, and place of the public hearing of the governing board of the local government at which such increase will be considered.

The City of Melbourne will consider an increase in water and sewer rates at a public hearing scheduled to begin at the conclusion of the Thursday, September 11, 2025, Special Budget Hearing at 5:30 p.m. to be held in the City Council Chambers located at 900 E Strawbridge Ave, Melbourne, FL 32901.
