Make a One-Time Payment or Donation

Customers may use this link to make the following types of payment:

  • Water Assistance Program donations
  • Police youth events donations
  • General donations
  • Parking violations
  • Planning permit, review or general fees
  • Park reservation fees
  • Roll-out cart fees
  • Bulk items or special brush and vegetation collection fees

Customers should not use this link if they have received an invoice from the town (see below for information on paying an invoice). Customers will need an email address to use this payment option. For assistance, contact customerservice@hillsboroughnc.gov.

Pay a Water and Sewer Bill

During the COVID-19 outbreak, the town asks that customers pay water and sewer bills using a credit or debit card online or by calling 833-262-5902 toll-free 24 hours a day. To set up a new account, follow the instructions in the "new service accounts" section on the Water and Sewer Billing and Collections page on the town website. Customers may use this link to view their utility bills online or to set up automatic payments from their debit or credit cards. Through this site, customers can:

  • Sign up for text alerts.
  • Register for bills by email.
  • See payment reflected immediately. 

Customers may choose Quick Pay, which allows them to pay without creating a login account. If they do not create an account, customers must have their billing account number and last payment amount each time they use Quick Pay. 

Those who create a login account only need to have their billing account number and last payment amount when they set up the account. Customers who create a login account can see their transaction histories.

Certain customers may be eligible for help paying bills through the Water Assistance Program, which is funded by donations from other utility customers. One-time donations may be made via the “Make a One-Time Payment or Donation” link in the “Available services” box on this page. Recurring donations may be made via the online donation form on the town website.
