During the COVID-19 outbreak, the town asks that customers pay water and sewer bills using a credit or debit card online or by calling 833-262-5902 toll-free 24 hours a day. To set up a new account, email or call 919-296-9450. To confirm your registration:
- Enter your new account number.
- Enter the amount you last paid.
If the system does not accept the amount you enter, please contact the town for the amount. Due to the number of customers who must be helped, email is preferable: email@example.com.
To pay by phone:
Call 833-262-5902 toll-free 24 hours a day and pay by credit or debit card.
To pay by other methods:
The 7 Ways to Pay Your Water and Sewer Bills document provides instructions to pay by:
- Bank originated bill pay — Implementing electronic payments from your bank can take up to 90 days, but your bank will issue a paper check for payment during this time.
- Bank draft — Once you have submitted required information, you must pay by other methods until your bill states, “Do not pay. Paid by draft.”
About the Water Assistance Program:
Certain customers may be eligible for help paying bills through a program funded by donations from other utility customers. Donations can be made via the online donation form.
