The City of Golden uses a third-party vendor for payment processing. A $1.25 fee applies to online and phone (IVR) payments. In addition, a 3.5% merchant processing fee (minimum $2.50) applies to all credit or debit card payments, including in-person transactions. These fees go directly to the payment service provider, not to the City. There is no fee for paying online by e-check. To avoid fees, use the e-check option.
