The City of Lewiston does not charge any fees for any of our payment options — including credit card, debit card, or electronic check payments. 

You can set up Auto Pay directly through your Customer Access Portal account or contact Utility Billing at ub@cityoflewiston.org for assistance.

Payments are due on the 15th day following your billing date. The due date is listed on your statement.

Common reasons include:

Seasonal water usage changes (lawn irrigation in summer months).
Leaky toilets or faucets.
Additional occupants or guests using more water.
Overdue balances from a prior bill cycle.
If your bill seems unusually high, contact Utility Billing and we’ll review it with you.

Late fees are assessed on the 21st of each month for any unpaid balance of $30.00 or more.

• Water lawns early morning or late evening to reduce evaporation.
• Check sprinkler system times to verify days and times for watering are not excessive. If raining turn off sprinkler system.
• Fix drippy faucets (a slow drip can waste over 20 gallons a day).
• Use a broom, not a hose, to clean driveways or sidewalks.
• Run dishwashers and washing machines with full loads only.
• Take shorter showers, and turn off the faucet while brushing teeth or shaving.
• When washing dishes by hand, don't let the water run while rinsing. 
• Install low-flow fixtures where possible. 
• Small changes in daily water habits can make a noticeable difference in your monthly cost.

📞 By Phone (IVR): Call 1-833-761-5606 anytime, 24/7. Have your 10-digit account number ready.
��️ In Person: Pay at City Hall, 1134 F Street, Lewiston, ID.
📮 Night Drop: Located on the east side of City Hall, next to the bus stop.
�� Auto Pay: Set up automatic payments through the City’s Customer Access portal (accepets credit,debit cards or e-check) or by emailing ub@cityoflewiston.org (accepts checking or savings account debits)

If you are a current Autopay customer and you want to use a Credit or Debit card for Autopay, you will need to email Utility Billing at UB@Cityoflewiston.org no later than the 5th of the month to stop your current payment method.

Failure to notify Utility Billing could result in multiple payments.
